My name is Samantha.  

Those of you who attend our webinars may have heard my voice a time or two.  I came to ClubExpress with several years of experience in the legal industry, where I handled policy and procedure development, as well as training. 

When I started at ClubExpress, building a new online Help System was the first major goal; we were growing and needed to make it easier for customers to get help.  We had written manuals, but they were hundreds of pages long and were often difficult to search through quickly.  We had context-sensitive help available on nearly every page of the site, but wanted to merge quick, on-demand help with the technical detail of a full manual.  A robust, searchable knowledge base was something our customers needed.

We wanted to make it easy for administrators to work the back end of their website and make it simple for members and non-members to interact with the same features.  While we kept the content, the layout of information is slightly different, and designed to help all site users get answers faster than before.  Now you can get help through your site, using the question mark (?) icon, or browse the full Help System. You can use our powerful search tool to find more relevant topics faster.  We added a new option in the Support Tab to allow you to download miniature versions of our Help Manuals, which we’ll talk about in a later post. With the new ClubExpress Help System, we made it easy to download PDFs of a topic and quickly jump to related topics, tutorials and webinars.

The project took several months, many hands and many minds, and on October 25, we finally launched our brand-new Help System.  Over the next five days I’ll be guiding you through the changes, highlighting exciting Help System features, and offering tips along the way.
